summary Every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and build a future. Conflict and displacement have disrupted education for many vulnerable children in and around Kumba, Cameroon. HUFAC-CAMEROON is working to help children affected by poverty, displacement and crisis remain connected to education by supporting school fees, learning materials and other essential educational needs. Your donation can help a child return to school with the basic materials and support they need to school.
The challenge For children affected by conflict and displacement, education can become one of the first things lost. Families struggling with displacement, unemployment and poverty may be unable to meet school fees and basic educational costs. A child who misses school today risks falling further behind tomorrow. HUFAC-CAMEROON has identified vulnerable children who need assistance to remain in or return to school. The need is greater than the resources currently available.
Our solution We will provide targeted educational support including: School fees and tuition assistance School bags and learning materials Textbooks and exercise books Basic educational supplies Targeted nutritional support where resources permit Educational follow-up with families and schools We believe Strongly that: "A School Bag Can Carry More Than Books"
The project will educate 375 vulnerable children a year , giving hope, and equally helping them come out of illiteracy & poverty.Manka'a was a vulnerable child who could not attend school because her family could not afford the basic educational needs she required. Through HUFAC-CAMEROON's intervention, Manka'a received educational support and a renewed opportunity to learn, giving her hope for a brighter and more dignified future.
