There is no specialized health facility in the village. The nearest health facility is at distance of 10 KMs. Due to the restricted mobility the women and children faces the most and it needs to address their health issues at the door step. Management of SDA and school teachers met the officials of district health authority and decided to organize a one day health camp. It was decided that SDA will provide the logistic support while health authority arrange specialized doctors, medicines and laboratory tests.
Team SDA, Teachers and students disseminated the information to the masses, about the holding of medical camp. It was organized on 6th July 2019 and about 670 women and children visited the camp. Doctors provided medicines and advised the daily routine and diet for healthy living.
Chief Executive Officer District Health Authority appreciated the effort of SDA and School staff for supporting the government in this very important event. He expressed his hope that the same intervention will be held in other villages.
It was a very successful event in all aspects and community was very satisfied.
