Our annual Scholarship Reception on February 11, 2025, was tremendously successful. We were thrilled to host current SGSNY Scholars, alumni, members, and program supporters for a memorable evening of networking and socializing. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for Scholars to practice networking in a supportive environment before entering the job market after graduation. It also allows them to build valuable professional connections to guide them through the crucial transition from college to career. Scholars had the chance to meet their mentors face-to-face for the first time at this gathering.

This year was especially significant as we achieved the milestone of providing over 500 scholarships to final-year students in CUNY schools and awarding over $1.6 million since the Scholarship Program started.

We are incredibly proud of our Scholars and program alumni and feel fortunate to support them in pursuing their dreams. This year’s reception was one of our most successful yet, with students excelling in networking and even having the opportunity to get professional headshots. It was truly a remarkable evening, and we look forward to the continued success of this program!
