“I will fulfill my Dream of becoming a Doctor” Kashish
Kashish is 23 years old studying zoology. She belongs to a very poor family. Her father
working as a sweeper but she had a passion to get education and do something for her family
and for her nation. Sometimes she expressed her desire to acquire higher education
but her father refused her, due to limited resources as her father could not afford her academic
expenses.
In the mean while she heard about Society for Human Development Toba Tek Singh scholarships program for needy and deserving students. She applied for the scholarship and sent an application to Society for Human Development Toba Tek Singh.
After fulfilling the procedure with SHD , she received the scholarship now she is able to continue her study in Zoology. She is verythankful to the staff of Society for Human Development who have supported her and have helped her in fulfilling her dream.

Thank you for your kind donations. We would like to share a short story with you all .
Samreen is studying in M.A English. She is a person with a disability (PWD) and a resident of Faisalabad. She is a disable and belongs to a poor family. Her father works as a labor and hardly meets their daily need. She is interested in studies and want to continue to build a bright future.
She shared " In the previous months I was facing problem to pay my college fee. The situation came to the point that I had to leave the college because of our poor financial situation . My father could not afford my college expenses.
A month ago , I heard that Society for Human Development Toba Tek Singh is supporting needy and deserving students with the scholarships. I applied for the scholarship and sent my application to the organization. After a little wait , I was overjoyed to learn that SHD agrees to grant me a scholarship to continue my studies . I have continued my masters in Political Sciences and I am very thankful to all staff of Society for Human Development for such support. I wish to be gazetted Officer after my studies and want to serve my country. "

The project has been able to raise USD 90,244 by now, and with these donations, The Society for Human Development has made it possibile for many needy students to get enrolled, achieve success and drem big. One of the lives which has been transformed through this project is of Shawariya.
Shawariya is 16 years old and lives in Toba Tek Singh. She has 3 brothers. She has no mother and her father is a drug addict and couldint take responsibility of her and her siblings. She started working as a house maid at her neighbors house and earned some money to feed their brothers. She expressed that she wanted to get education and heard from her friend about the scholarship program of SHD, to the poor and needy students to continue their education. She applied for the scholarship and got enrolled in class 9th. She wants to work for humanity after completing her education. She said "I am very thankful to Society for Human Development for supporting me and for giving me a chance to continue my education".

The project has been able to raise USD 79,581 by now, and with these donations, The Society for Human Development has made it possibile for many needy students to achieve success and dream big. During the last quarter, SHD has provided scholarships to the 10 University students belonging to Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Toba Tek Singh. The scholarships were given at different occassions.
Izhaq lives in Toba Tek Singh and doing his postgraduate degree in Mathematics. His father is a retired Army person. After his retirement, the financial condition of his family became vulnerable, so it became hard for his father to afford the educational expenses of his children. One day, Ishaq heard from his friend about the scholarship program for the needy students at Society for Human Development. After registering himself , he got selected and recevied the scholarship. With the amount he received , Ishaq has been able to continue his studies and will soon complete his degree. He wants to become a lecturer in the public scetor. He is very thankful to Society for Human Development for supporting the poor students.

During the last quarter, SHD has provided a computer learning facility for the students of St. Peters School Toba Tek Singh. The purpose of this facility is to improve computer literacy and criticial thinking among children.
This is the very first Computer facility at the school and the students are very excited to have it.More than 200 students are benefitting from this activity. One of the students, Aamir thinks of it as a blessing for the children. He gives credit to the school management for introducing compter studies in their course. " I am always excited to attend the computer class. I always wanted to learn computer but we do not have it at home. Here I have been able to learn typing, write essays and play games. I am thankful to the school for providing us the computers"
