This project supports 100 Orphans and Vulnerable children in a rural community by covering their school fees, providing scholastic materials, and offering nutritious meals. The goal is to ensure that these children have access to quality education while receiving the nutrition they need to thrive academically and physically.
Due to extreme poverty, many OVCs do not attend school, as their caregivers cannot afford the required fees and materials. Additionally, the lack of proper nutrition further hinders their ability to succeed in school. This vicious cycle of poverty, malnutrition, and illiteracy continues to affect generations.
This project will provide scholarships to cover the cost of tuition, uniforms, and books. In addition, a daily meal program will be established at the school to ensure children receive the nutrition they need. This holistic approach will not only keep children in school but also improve their health and cognitive abilities.
The combination of education and nutritional support will enable these children to excel in their studies, eventually helping them secure better job opportunities. By doing so, they will be able to support their families in the future, thus reducing the dependency on external aid and fostering a more self-reliant community.
