Provide scholarship, educational resources, campaign against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) & HIV/AIDS, and train mentors to support talented girls from poor households in Kenya.
Kenya is one of the poorest countries in the world. More than 60% of the population lives in abject poverty with a dollar a day. Consequently, the wide gap between the rich and the poor continues to grow. The financial constraints lead to knowledge gap and creates an impossible situation for the poor to find their way out of poverty. One surest way to help is to provide education so that they can realize their full potential and become competitive in the global knowledge-based economy.
Provide poor girls with empowerment through quality education and mentoring so that they can protect themselves against FGM, HIV/AIDs, early marriages, unwanted pregnancies-education provides skills to compete in the global knowledge-based economy.
The project produces educated young women, capable of creating positive social change through contribution to social, economic, and political development in Kenya. This leads to an empowered society devoid of violence against women and girls
