Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, SBP's work for families in southwest Louisiana is having a direct and long-lasting human impact. Thousands of homes were severely damaged or destroyed in Hurricanes Laura and Delta in 2020's unprecedented storm season. Many of the impacted residents are hardworking people with limited resources to fully recover. SBP's home repair program was launched in October 2020 to help underserved families return to the safety of home. SBP has established a case management program to identify clients who qualify for the program, and the team has either completed or started construction for 12 families to date. With the resources available, SBP's goal is to help at least 50 families rebuild their homes and lives this year.
