We may never know exactly what happened to her.
Perhaps she became tangled in a metal wire while trying to jump over a fence. Perhaps someone had tied her with it. We do not know the full story. What we do know is that this poor dog was found on the road by a group of kindhearted people who could not leave her suffering.
By the time she was rescued and brought to Jivdaya Charitable Trust, she was in severe pain. Deep wounds covered her back, thigh, and hind leg. During the examination, our doctors discovered that a metal wire had been tightly wrapped around her body and had cut deep into her skin.
Our team immediately started treatment.
The wire was carefully removed, and the injured areas were treated through surgery and suturing. She had already gone through tremendous pain, and at first he was frightened, stressed, and unsure of the people around her. It was difficult for him to trust anyone.
But with regular treatment, gentle care, and patience, things slowly began to change.
Today, she is free from the wire and the terrible pain it caused. Her wounds are healing, she is eating well, and she has started walking around with curiosity again. She now happily accepts treats, attention, and affection from our team members.
The most beautiful part of her story is still ahead.
Once she has fully recovered, she will not have to return to the street. One of the kind people who helped rescue her has decided to adopt her and give her a safe and loving home.
Her future family is already beginning to form a bond with her. The rescuer visits her regularly, spends time walking with her, helps with feeding, and stays close during her recovery. Day by day, the scared and injured dog is learning that people can also bring comfort, safety, and love.
Her journey began with pain and uncertainty, but it is now moving toward healing, trust, and a new family.
Sometimes, rescue does more than save a life. It gives that life a completely new beginning.
