Charly´s Testimony

Charly is a two-year-old boy who was admitted to the Hospital due to symptoms of vomit and
reflux he had since his first year of life. Charly was born through a premature birth and
presented precarious conditions of malnutrition, even though his food ingestion was not
considered inadequate.

To establish a thorough diagnosis, our team of professionals decided to perform an
endoscopy after having conducted multiple exams that provided no concrete answer. The
results of the endoscopy showed a gastric outlet obstruction. As it is an extremely strange
case for Charly’s age, pediatric surgeons were brought onboard to perform a surgical
intervention, which had a successful outcome.

After this procedure, Charly’s quality of life has improved significantly. He has already
reached his ideal weight and height thanks to an adequate food ingestion and because the
vomit has stopped during habitual meals, which was a constant situation for him before. His
process and evolution have been closely and constantly monitored by our specialists,
allowing them to be witnesses of his progressively positive development.
