Friends,
In the coming months, we’ll be making some exciting changes to our very successful spay/neuter program! As we head into 2027, we’ll be pivoting the program to serve an area even more in need of spay/neuter services. The details are still being finalized but I can tell you that we will be able to help more community cats in a different rural area of North Carolina. I’ll be very happy to share this great news with you in a short while.
As we know from our more than a decade of working with community cats, we can help stop colonies from growing just by spaying and neutering the cats who live in them. We can’t stop people from dumping their cats, but we can do our best to treat the cats with kindness, offer them treatment for conditions or injuries, and make sure they are fully healed before they return after surgery.
Your support for this program continues to be the fuel that helps community cats. Your love of these cats who need you comes shining through when you make a gift to this program. I am certain that our new path will be just as important and effective as our past 10+ years of work have been.
Thank you for making it possible and enabling us to reach more cats who need our help so much.
Sam
