Saving America's Horses

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED is a cause driven educational, informational, and transformative film project under Wild for Life Foundation WFLF), a 501c3 grassroots all volunteer charity dedicated to saving, protecting, and preserving equines. 

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED highlights the environmental impact caused by the capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses designated for human consumption and reveals the imminent health risks to humans. It’s an intelligent exposé that reveals how the public has been misled by government agencies and corporate interests that run over the laws that are supposed to protect the public, the horses and the environment. 

The Saving America’s Horses Committee calls on everyone who cares about the welfare of animals to demand that Congress pass a permanent ban on the slaughter of horses immediately. Support for this project helps get the true facts out to the public through the ongoing expansion of distribution avenues for the SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES international award-winning feature documentary film, video, & educational program which includes its special reports, the streaming of the film and educational videos, infographics, website, and social action tools.   

This project also helps to advance the protection and preservation of America's horses and burros in need by helping to bring aid and provide for the vital needs America's at-risk equines through wild horse and burro preservation and the prevention of equine cruelty. This project’s initiatives include its international award-winning educational program, its boots-on-the-ground services lifesaving aid to horses and burros in need, and its international consortium of equine professionals, advocates and concerned citizens working together for the PROTECTION of equines from cruelty. 

The potential long-term impact of this project is to break the cycle of animal cruelty for America's horses and burros through cultivating action and inspiring social change for the protection of equines from abuse, cruelty and inhumane death, including ending the insidious slaughter of equines, and passing permanent legal safeguards for horses and burros from slaughter and roundups through enforced federal protection.
