Saving America's Horses helps to bring aid and provide for the vital needs America's at-risk equines through wild horse and burro preservation and the prevention of equine cruelty. Initiatives include 1) its international award-winning educational program, 2) boots-on-the-ground services delivering lifesaving aid to horses and burros in need, and 3) its international consortium of equine professionals, advocates and concerned citizens working together for the PROTECTION of equines from cruelty.
Slaughter proponents don't want you to know that thousands of horses & burros are brutally killed annually due to horse slaughter & roundups; that their so-called overpopulation is a hoax; that they're threatened to extinction in the wild; that wild horses & burros are Native to America; they boost biodiversity, restore ecosystems & help prevent wildfires; that slaughter is NOT humane; horsemeat can contain lethal substances; or proponents have been caught dumping raw blood into fresh waterways.
Support for this project will help get facts out to the public by expanding distribution avenues for the SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES international award-winning feature documentary film, video, & educational program including special reports, infographics and social action tools. Project outreach efforts and charitable animal protection services will help to advance the protection and preservation of America's horses and burros.
The potential long-term impact of this project is to break the cycle of animal cruelty for America's horses and burros through cultivating action and inspiring social change for the protection of equines from abuse, cruelty and inhumane death, including ending the insidious slaughter of equines, and passing permanent legal safeguards for horses and burros from slaughter and roundups through enforced federal protection.
