Saving America's Horses

Support for this project helps get the true facts out to the public and supports the important expansion of distribution avenues for the SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES international award-winning feature documentary film, video, & educational program which includes its special reports, infographics, and social action tools.  This project also helps to advance the protection and preservation of America's horses and burros in need.

Saving America's Horses helps to bring aid and provide for the vital needs America's at-risk equines through wild horse and burro preservation and the prevention of equine cruelty. Initiatives include 1) its international award-winning educational program, 2) boots-on-the-ground services delivering lifesaving aid to horses and burros in need, and 3) its international consortium of equine professionals, advocates and concerned citizens working together for the PROTECTION of equines from cruelty.

The potential long-term impact of this project is to break the cycle of animal cruelty for America's horses and burros through cultivating action and inspiring social change for the protection of equines from abuse, cruelty and inhumane death, including ending the insidious slaughter of equines, and passing permanent legal safeguards for horses and burros from slaughter and roundups through enforced federal protection.

Our next goal is to expand distribution by making the SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES international award-winning feature documentary film available for people to own on DVD and BluRay.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED, is a film project under the Wild for Life Foundation (WFLF), a 501c3 grassroots all volunteer charity dedicated to saving, protecting, and preserving equines.

Wild For Life Foundation puts the story of America's Horses front and center, by bringing the international award-winning feature documentary film, SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES; A NATION BETRAYED to the public eye.

The full-length feature film, which was just completely remastered in 2022, is now available on two worldwide streaming platforms, Ecoflix & Vimeo.  The 2022 cut can now be watched on demand in combination with SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES’ Electrifying Prelude Segment which brings to the screen amazing new footage, music, and updated facts. WFLF and EcoFlix began partnering in November 2022, to help highlight the escalated plight of horses & burros in America. 100% of EcoFlix member/subscription fees are donated to SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES when subscribers choose the Wild For Life Foundation as their favorite EcoFlix Partner Friend.

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED highlights the environmental impact caused by the capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses designated for human consumption and reveals the imminent health risks to humans. It’s an intelligent exposé that reveals how the public has been misled by government agencies and corporate interests that run over the laws that are supposed to protect the public, the horses and the environment.
