July 2021 Update from Saving America's Horses

By Saving America's Horses | WFLF

Every day, countless horses’ and burros’ lives are lost to inhumane and needless killing that can be prevented; this killing additionally places human lives at risk, contributes to toxic waste and global warming.  It remains our mission to see that this becomes a thing of the past.

Through our SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES project we bring to surface vital facts while inspiring civic engagement by showing how existing laws that are meant to protect the horses, people and the environment are being run over.

Through SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES, we spotlight the imminent and urgent health risks to humans and the environmental impact caused by the capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses that are slaughtered for human consumption.

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES also raises awareness and support for the protection of America’s wild equines as an indigenous species to North America. Support for this project helps efforts to assure the continued defunding of horse slaughter in the U.S., and it supports equine rescue and recovery efforts for America’s at-risk horses and burros.

You can help save the lives of precious America's horses by sharing this information through our page on the GlobalGiving platform.  By sharing facts and information about this issue together we can make a difference toward breaking the cycle of animal cruelty for America’s horses and burros and cultivating the action and social change needed for the protection of all equines from abuse, cruelty and gruesome death. By sharing this message, you can help save lives today.

Thank you for sharing and helping to make a difference.
