Saving America's Horses

We are thrilled to announce that a series of Saving America’s Horses movie screenings will soon be launched at theaters and local community venues nationwide. Fans and collaborating organizations will be able to take part and help drive the success of the screenings through word-of-mouth, social media and ticket pre-sales. Dates and venues for each screening will be based on booking requests and availability.

Information on bookings and venues will soon be announced. Production team members are working behind the scenes to finalize preparations for this exciting development.

With YOUR continued support, funds are being raised to bring this extremely compelling film resource to more venues and to universities, schools and libraries and onto television/ cable and DVD. We continue to receive requests from people around the country to present SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES far and wide.

Supporters and fans will soon be given the option to add special meaning to their donations by designating that their support will aid in promotional costs, including live appearances, introductions, discussions, calls-to-action, and Q&A’s.

Saving America's Horses continues to raise awareness and compel people to action. Although the defunding of the appropriations for USDA inspectors in U.S. horse slaughter plants is back in place, America's wild and domestic horses continue to face this gruesome fate after being sold at local auctions around the country, then shipped for slaughter in Canada and Mexico. No horse will be safe until federal protection is put into action.

SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES is a powerful podium with a dynamic reach to animal lovers worldwide. This intelligent exposé also reveals how the public has been misled by several government agencies and corporate interests that run over the laws that are supposed to protect the horses, people and the environment.

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES was successfully released to theaters in LA and NYC in December. Funds received through GlobalGiving and other sources helped to make this groundbreaking milestone for the horses, a reality. SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES also qualified for Oscar consideration which brought the issues impacting America's horses into the mainstream.

Saving America's Horses Presents at the 2014 EAGALA Conference: The Wild for Life Foundation's Saving America's Horses is honored to have partnered with the The American Association of Equine Sports Preservation (AAESP) to present and exhibit at the 15th Annual EAGALA conference in March. The American Association of Equine Sports Preservation showcases equine-assisted programs that help children with autism, military veterans, and other victims of post-traumatic stress disorder. "We are pleased to report an overwhelming response to SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES, the featurette at the 2014 EAGALA Conference," said Katia Louise, international ward winning filmmaker. The SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES featurette, (a short version of the full length movie) screened at the EAGALA 15th Annual Conference in Mesquite, TX to a full house. Filmmaker Katia Louise joined the viewers live for a brief Q & A via telecom following the screening. WFLF's EAGALA conference booth provided visitors with educational materials about the issues that impact the safety and welfare and America's horses most urgently.
