Women in India were deprived of educational privileges for centuries.The right to education denied to women in rural areas still exists. “by a girl, by a young woman, or even by an aged one, nothing must be done independently’. There are many people who oppose girls’ education. They say that the proper sphere of girls is the home. So, they argue that the money spent on girl’s education is wasted. 

Investment in women and girls, is a proven path to reduce poverty.

We at CHHASE realize that women must get employment, education and financial security to be free from violence. Hence we struggle hard to educate girls, give skill trainings and free from house bondage to become independent.

Story of Kalai Selvi :- Kalai Selvi, a widow with three kids aged 41. She came across sexual abuse. She got Sewing training 4 years back in our institute and became eligible for a free sewing machine. She started her business, three years back. With her hard work, to day she is able educate her children, feed them without difficulties. She is reparing her home alone without any body help. Now to day, she feel strong enough to face the difficulties in society.
