The Save Up Program, the flagship program for the RISE Foundation, is gearing up to begin another class to help low-income families become financially self-sufficient and asset owners on January 19. Since July 2011, the Save Up Program has graduated a class of 20 participants, increasing the graduating class number from 437 to 457. The participants successfully completed an intensive six-week financial literacy class to prepare them to save long-term for assets. Since that time, there has one home purchase and eight vehicle purchases. The total asset creation has increased from $5.7 M to $5.8 M.
Your donations will help to provide matched funds for participants as they work to save money and provide better lives for themselves and their families.
