Japan Update
The Japanese Government has issued their whalers a permit to kill 62 endangered fin whales in addition to 154 Brydes whales, 56 minke whales and 25 endangered Sei Whales that were already permmitted. Earlier this year, Japan launched its new whale killing and processing vessel to kill these magnificent creatures.
So far, Japan has killed 25 endangered fin whales this summer!
Japan is a rougue commercial whaling nation and dolphin killing country and we need your help to stop them.
Iceland Update
Here is some good news! Iceland's only fin whaling company, Hvalur hf., has canceled its fin whale hunt for this summer's 2025 season. This decision, made in late April, is due to declining demand for whale meat in Japan, Iceland's primary export market. While the government had issued permits for hunting 209 fin whales, the company deemed it unprofitable to proceed.
We need your financial help to help end these cruel and needless hunts for good.
Norway Update
Norwegian whalers has set the 2025 quota to kill over 1,000 minke whales thiis summer.
Norway continues to defy the commercial moratorium on whaling even though there is no real demand for whale meat in their country.
All of us here are committed to doing everything we can to help Save the Whales Again!
We thank you all for your continuing support and ask you to please donate what you can to help us!
Sincerely,
