Hi Dolphin, Whale & Ocean Lovers,
It was over 8 years ago that our international spokesperson and star of ABC's hit series "Nashville", Hayden Panettiere, put her life on the line by paddling into the blood filled waters of Taiji's notorious dolphin killing cove and was accosted by the dolphin fisherman causing an international media frenzy which helped raise awareness to this cruel and needless slaughter.
Japan Update
Our founder, Jeff Pantukhoff, is continuing our ongoing efforts to stop the slaughter of dolphins and whales there but unfortunately, the dolphin killing by Japanese fisherman still continues in Taiji and on December 1, 2015, the Japanese Government sent its whaling fleet to the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary to slaughter 333 minke whales.
We will be returning to Japan again next year so we need your help and support now more than ever to help us stop the needless and senseless killing of dolphins and whale so please consider helping our cause making a donation or buying our eco-friendly merchandise tht make great gifts for the Holidays!
You can choose from our ever popular Whaleman t-shirts, eco-friendly reusable shopping bags and stainless steel water bottles, and other popular items from our merchandise page.
All proceeds go to our Save the Whales Again! campaign so please check out our other updates below to see how we are putting your generosity towards saving dolphins, whales, and our oceans.
Iceland Update
Iceland is still killing endangered fin whales!
This past summer, Iceland killed over 150 endangered fin whales even though President Obama had certified Iceland under the Pelly Amendment and used diplomatic pressure to try to stop Iceland from killing whales.
Next summer, Iceland plans on killing another 150 endangered fin whales!
Since diplomacy is not working, we are working closely with the President's Administration calling on them to use economic sanctions on Iceland until it ceases whaling.
Also, we are helping with a new documentary film that will put the spotlight on Iceland and we need your help and support now more than ever to ensure our success.
Norway Update
Norway continues to defy the commercial moratorium on whaling killing over 650 minke whales last summer and has set its 2016 quota to over 1,200 minke whales.
Minke whales are the smallest of the great whales and are very beautiful and intelligent creatures who are also very curious and interactive with human divers. Norway, like Iceland, believes that no one cares about their illegal whaling activities but we have news for them: We do! Norway killed over 650 minke whales last summer and we are currently planning events to shine the spotlight on Norway as well so we need your help and support now more than ever.
All of us here are committed to doing everything we can to help Save the Whales Again! We thank you all for your continuing support and wish you and yours all the best for the holiday season and ask you to please donate what you can to help us!
Sincerely,

Hayden Panettiere
