Challenge

In Beirut, 60 orphaned girls who have already endured the loss of their families now face the risk of losing the only home they have. The residential care facility where they live have been severely affected by years of economic hardship and instability in Lebanon. Critical areas of the building, dormitories, heating and electrical systems, kitchens, bathrooms, and safety infrastructure are deteriorating and no longer adequately support a safe, healthy environment.

Solution

This project will rehabilitate the children's home so it can remain a safe and nurturing haven for the 60 girls who depend on it. With donor support, we will renovate and repair dormitories, upgrade kitchens and sanitation facilities, fix and stabilize heating and electrical systems, and strengthen safety features throughout the building. We will also create welcoming spaces for learning, recreation, and personal development.

Long-Term Impact

This project will give 60 orphaned girls a stable, dignified home where they can heal from trauma and build a brighter future. A safe, well-maintained facility will allow them to attend school regularly, receive consistent care, and grow up in an environment that fosters confidence, resilience, and hope.
