This project will rehabilitate a residential care facility in Beirut to support 48 orphaned girls with safe housing, nutritious meals, supervised care, and educational support. Planned improvements include dormitory rehabilitation, kitchen and sanitation upgrades, heating and electrical systems, safety enhancements, and recreational space to create a stable and dignified environment for vulnerable children affected by Lebanon's ongoing crisis.
Lebanon's prolonged economic crisis and instability have placed significant pressure on vulnerable children and overwhelmed many social support systems. Orphaned girls are especially at risk, facing housing instability, food insecurity, interrupted education, and limited access to safe care environments. Existing residential facilities continue to struggle with deteriorating infrastructure and insufficient resources needed to provide stable living conditions and essential services.

The project will strengthen long-term residential care capacity for vulnerable orphaned girls in Lebanon by providing safe housing and access to essential services in a stable environment. Improved living conditions, nutrition, supervision, and educational support will help promote child wellbeing, resilience, and long-term development outcomes. The rehabilitation also contributes to sustainable local humanitarian infrastructure supporting vulnerable children and families in Beirut.
