Little sparrow not only entices our kids, but it also loves human beings. It collects pieces of staw from surroundings and makes its nests in our courtyards. We wake up by listening its melodious chirping in our courtyards every day. But, now we have lost the sweet and melodious chirping from our courtyards for which the major reason is no other than us. Now, we don't leave a tiny space in our modern residences for sparrow so that it can make its nest in that space and this practice of ours has made sparrow to loose its habitate from our surroundings and this is also the major reason for rapid decrease in the number of sparrow.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation has taken the responsibility of conservation of sparrow. RSKS organizes awareness programs at times and intalls eco-friendly nests at feasible places so that the little bird can make its habitate again in our surroundings. In the series, RSKS has installed more than 50 eco-friendly nests at Public placeS where tourists visit from distant places. Among them, a tourist showed his interest in the program.
RSKS also made necessary arrangements for food and water of sparrow and places more than 50 vessels for grains and water at all above mentined memorials. After a short while of placing the vessels full of grains and water, there came sparrow and started pecking the grains that became a centre of attraction of all tourists and the Team RSKS. The Team RSKS made all tourists aware of the conservation of sparrow. Among all the tourists, one shared his experiences with the Team RSKS.
My name is Irfan (Name changed) and I visit to Ajmer every year for offering prayer. Listening to sparrow in this hilly region makes me happy. But, this year when visited Ajmer I came to know about the program of RSKS. I also helped the Team RSKS to install eco-friendly nests and placing the grains and water vessels that made me happy too. I convey my best wishes to RSKS and the supporters to make the program successful.

A Warm Greeting from RSKS India !!
Earlier, we all could easily hear the sweet & melodious chirping of little bird sparrow in the courtyards of our homes, but now the courtyards are abondoned. Due to modern residential buildings, increasing pollution and changes in our life stlye, sparrow is at the verge of extinction. Once our houses used to be the habitat of sparrow and the courtyards were resounded with the melodious chirping of sparrow, but now the species in endangered.
In this critical situation, to bring sprrow in the courtyards of our homes again, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan manages "Save Sparrow". Under the program, we make people aware of the conservation of sparrow and eco-friendly nests are given for its rehabilitation. In the current session, RSKS organized an awareness program, under whcih 25 eco-friendly nests were installed at different places. The bird lovers visited RSKS office and expressed their wish to install the nests at their places, then the organization completed the required documentation and the Team RSKS visited their places and get the eco friendly nests installed under its guidance.
Under the program, RSKS also focussed on children and our activists made them understood the importance of presence of sparrow in our homes. Among those children, the parens of one children told that when sparrow used to chirp in their courtyard in its melodious voice, their child went outside of the room and looking at the chirping sparrow brought smile to its face. That's why, they already left a place to install a nest for sparrow where it makes its nests by staw and reproduce. They also kept a vessel for the food and water of sparrow. The parents of the child along with others appreciated the program of RSKS and thanked the donors.
