We have exciting news to share with you today!
Due to the impact of the pandemic, we have been forced to reevaluate our plans for a new gallery building. We have been discussing our direction during this time, and we resumed our regular meetings with the architect team this month.
In the first meeting after resuming the discussion, we reconfirmed that the building will be designed to provide a suitable thermal environment and stable humidity for the preservation of the Hiroshima Panels and other artworks. We will be working on the specifications step by step.
Thanks to the support from everyone, we have a clear idea on the budget and the schedule for construction. We will be finalizing our plans accordingly.
The resuming of meetings seems like a small step, but we are so glad that we are finally taking a step forward.
We will keep you posted!
