Save Sick, Injured and Abused Homeless Pets!

Thank you so much for supporting the Petfinder Foundation's Emergency Medical Fund. You've helped pets in desperate need such as Sydney, who received life-changing surgery thanks to our grant to Orlando's Poodle and Pooch Rescue of Florida.

Abandoned, Then Attacked
"Sydney, an 8-week-old poodle-mix puppy, came into our care after suffering a devastating eye injury that required immediate emergency intervention," says Poodles and Pooch President Rebecca Lynch.

"After being found abandoned and taken in by a good Samaritan, Sydney was attacked by another dog in the home, leaving her with a severe eye injury that threatened both her comfort and her future."

Help Without Hesitation
"When the local shelter called us, one of our volunteers immediately transported Sydney to our vet partner, where she was stabilized and underwent emergency enucleation surgery to remove the damaged eye and relieve her pain.

"The Petfinder Foundation Emergency Medical Grant helped offset the substantial costs associated with Sydney's care, including diagnostics, surgery, hospitalization, medications, and follow-up treatment. This support allowed us to focus on providing the lifesaving care Sydney needed without diverting critical resources from other dogs in our rescue program."

Healthy and Adopted
"Most importantly, the grant gave Sydney the opportunity to heal, recover, and move forward toward a happy, healthy life and a loving forever home."
