Thank you for donating to the Petfinder Foundation's Emergency Medical Fund! Your gift has helped pets like Emma, a 10-week-old rabbit who was scheduled for euthanasia at a municipal shelter because of her overgrown teeth.
Emma was born with a pronounced underbite that caused her incisors to not to align and grind down properly. As a result, her teeth became so overgrown that they touched her nose, and prevented her from eating.
She was pulled from the shelter by The Bunny Trail Rabbit Rescue in Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA. A Petfinder Foundation Emergency Medical Grant helped The Bunny Trail pay for surgery to remove Emma's overgrown teeth.
Emma got her surgery and has been thriving ever since. She can now eat freely on her own and is enjoying all the love and attention she receives. She will be spayed this month and then she'll be ready for her forever family!
Thank you so much for helping Emma and other homeless pets!
