Latest updates

By Anastasiia Rusetska | Project Leader

Dear donors,

We truly wish this update could be a simple letter of gratefulness, telling you that our mission is complete and that your help is no longer needed. Unfortunately, that moment has not yet come. The reality around us continues to demand action, and without your support, many families would be left without the most basic necessities.

Over the past weeks, thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide food packages to families in need, supply medications to those who cannot afford them, and help cover urgent housing expenses for displaced people. Each of these steps was made possible because of you — your kindness translates directly into survival, dignity, and hope.

Still, the challenges are growing. Rising prices for food, medicine, and fuel mean that every package we deliver costs more than before. On top of this, the Ukrainian government has recently allowed men aged 18–21 to leave the country, which has resulted in a smaller pool of local volunteers. This makes our work not only more expensive but also more difficult logistically.

We are also preparing for the winter months — a time that always requires more resources and attention. Warm clothing, heating assistance, and seasonal medical needs add an extra layer of urgency to everything we do. Without advance preparation, many vulnerable families will be left struggling in the cold.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us face these growing challenges. Together, we are making sure that families are not forgotten, that children are cared for, and that people know they are not alone.

On behalf of everyone at Daruj Dobro, thank you for standing with us. Your generosity is the reason we can keep moving forward, step by step, until the day comes when our letter can finally say: “We did it together.”

With gratitude,

Daruj Dobro Team
