Save Newborn Lives in Ukraine

From April through September, our team continued providing critical support to children in Ukraine who required urgent and complex neurosurgical treatment.

During this reporting period, 43 children were provided with all the necessary medical supplies for surgeries on the brain and spinal cord. For many of these children, timely access to specialized neurosurgical materials was essential, allowing doctors to perform the necessary procedures without delay.

We are especially happy to share that 40 children have already been discharged from the hospital and returned home to their families. For us, every discharge is an important milestone. Behind each one is a difficult journey through diagnosis, surgery, hospital treatment, and recovery — and a child who now has the opportunity to continue growing and developing surrounded by their loved ones.

Our work continues every day. Children with hydrocephalus, spina bifida, and other serious neurosurgical conditions still need urgent treatment, and in many cases there is very little time to act. By ensuring hospitals and doctors have access to the necessary medical supplies, we can help make sure that life-saving treatment is available when a child needs it most.
