This vaborable quarter for productions from September-November 2023,the main growing season falls for vegetable production in Nepal where early winter off season falls could generate attractive income in a shortest period of time by the pro poor marginal victim families and poor people in the rural areas of Nepal. So that these poor rural women are motivated to involve in early witer fresh vegetable productions.MRC Nepal provided production inputs in contrbutory basis,technical backstopping support and capacity building training for skill enhancement.So that the poor rural women farmars are able to generate attractive income and improving their day to day livelihood.Not only these but also the fresh organic vegetables are also using in day to day kitchen needs reducing costs of purchasing vegetables from market. employment creation at home and families through engagement in vegetable farmings using bio pesticides technologies preparing domestic pesticides at home.

Benificiaries getting fruit sapling
The flood affected victim families during this quater have been benifited from seeds of vegetable crops and fruit sapling of Litchi, Lemon, Avocardo etc. for the plantation of fruits in home garden. The vegetables seeds are distributed for growing early winter off-season production so that there will be very good prices of vegetable product while marketing. During November, December in Nepal their is high price in Merket. There will no problem of marketing of vegetable. These beneficiaries have received skill enhancement production technology and marketing training. They also received training for making domestic Bio-pesticides so that thy will be able of producing eco-friendly organic vegetable products having better price in market.
In this regards these beneficiaries will be able of increasing income from the selling of vegetable products so that this increase income will invest on household expences and education of their children. Along with this the fruit plantation will make support on environment for a climate resilience (Carbon sequestration) and income of the family.
At the last beneficiaries are highly encourage from the package and thanked to GlobalGiving and MRC Nepal.

Beneficiaries getting support og banana sapling
During the reporting period from February 2023 to Aprol 2023, the people who are highly affected by flood were support to maintain livelihood through different income generating activiies related to vegetable. Such supports are vegetable training, seed and nursery raising , fruit plantation, etc. MRC Nepal plays an important role for technical backstopping and skilled enhancemnt training for commercial vegetable farming.
As a result of these interventions, affected victim are able to increase their existing income from the sale of vegetable products in the market. Hence the families ensure for all year round along with daily household expenses. Thier dependent children gets nutritious food, cloth and better education. In this regards the affected families freely express thier internal feeling of improving livrlihood from the supoert of MRC Nepall and GLOBAL GIVING.Thanks to them.
