Our project SueTy (“Bird’s Whisper”) is advancing its mission to protect the Apolinar’s Wren by empowering youth through art and education. Our latest milestone is the production -in process- of #SuperOjoFilm, a stop-motion short film co-created with children from the Guáquira Rural School.
Building on SueTy’s transmedia storytelling workshops, students are translating the complex hyperspectral technology of the Hidro-Aves Tota (HAT) project into an accessible narrative. Through the "Super Eye" concept, children designed characters and recording sets during workshops held at their school and the Xieti Studio within the Xieti Natural Reserve. By the end of August it is expected a first draft of this film to be completed, it is a filming effort being directed by Social Vista Films (J.Barrera).
This collaboration bridges scientific innovation and local leadership. By simplifying high-resolution aerospace data into art, these young guardians are becoming vital advocates for the conservation of Lake Tota, proving that technology and education can unite to save species from extinction.
