Challenge

Insecurity in Tirah Valley have forced thousands of families to flee their homes, often with nothing more than the clothes they are wearing. Displaced households are now living in overcrowded host communities and informal settlements where food, healthcare, and clean water are scarce. Children are going hungry, women lack basic dignity items, and elderly family members struggle to access medical care. Without safe water and hygiene supplies, families face rising risks of disease outbreaks.

Solution

Sanash Welfare Foundation will deliver rapid, life-saving assistance to displaced families from Tirah Valley through a community-led emergency response. The project provides emergency food rations to reduce hunger and stabilize nutrition. Basic healthcare services and essential medicines will address common illnesses and prevent complications. Safe drinking water, hygiene kits, and hygiene awareness sessions will help prevent disease outbreaks. By combining immediate relief with protection.

Long-Term Impact

In the short term, displaced families will experience reduced hunger, improved health, and restored dignity. Children will be safer, women will have their basic hygiene needs met, and vulnerable individuals will gain access to medical care. Over time, this support will reduce reliance on harmful coping strategies such as skipping meals or delaying treatment. Strengthened protection awareness and community engagement will improve safety for women and children.
