Youth Alliance for Human Rights has established 13 tent villages in flood affected areas of Pakistan and providing cooked food and clean drinking water to around 28,000 people in partnership with YPP.
Massive floods in various parts of Pakistan has completely flattened major areas in all four provinces of the country and more than 20 million people are now homeless and have lost everything. Torrential rains in flood-hit Pakistan have further hampered aid efforts and are threatening to deepen a crisis affecting 20 million people now dieing of food shortage and lack of adequate health facilities. Our organization has provided shelter to around 28000 people in South Punjab and Sindh
YAFHR is working hard to get more and more support to provide cooked food and clean drinking water to all the residents of our camps, majority of whom have lost their homes and livelihood. YAFHR has cooking arrangements in all its camps.
Through this intervention around 28000 people will get three meals a day and clean drinking water that will be the basic requirement for flood affected populations in three districts of Punjab and two districts of Sindh.
