SAVE 1500 STRAY ANIMALS IN CAMEROON (DOGS & CATS)

IAA animal and vegan advocacy project aims to create awareness about animal rights and welfare to change peoples' minds. Sharing knowledge about animal welfare issues and creating awareness about veganism in innovative and creative ways and humane education in schools and radio talk show.

In July 2025, IAA took part in AVA Summit in Nairoby Kenya, which was organized by Animal and Vegan Advocacy International. Over 200 participants including Animal and Vegan Advocates, Funders and researchers gathered from around the world in Nairoby and shared experiences on best practices with regards to regional context and culture. The brainstorm was around wildlife trafficking as the most destructive and lucrative transboundary organized crime. Topics also included food policy, animal suffering, exploitation and protection of fishes and street animals.

In attending this Summit, IAA did not only improve and increase its skills in Animal and Vegan work, but also created partnership with new organizations and individuals, as well as met old supporters in person who inspired and continue to help us build a sustainable planet for all living creatures. We were deeply inspired by the reach presentation from various animal professionals and organizations which has empowered us to lead transformational animal and vegan projects in Cameroon and beyond, mentoring and supporting aspired and emerging animal advocates and researchers/conservationists.

Dungrila Pascal Mbimenyuy, is a conservationist and environmentalist, with unwavering committment to protecting the environment and everything found on it. Dungrila focuses on Animal advocacy and Veganism, aimed at improving animal welfare and advocating for animal rights. Dungrila also aims to promote a lifestyle that seeks to exclude all forms of animal exploitation and cruelty.

For eight years now, Dungrila, through integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) has advocated for animal right and welfare and promoting fully plant based agriculture and diets through a range of actions including education, activism, capacity building and lobbying for policy changes, with comon goal to protecting animals and promoting their well-being. To Dungrila, those who are for animals, environment and social justice are ethical vegans, and he is one of them and has reached thousands of individuals through education and activism which have had a profound reduction in dog and cat consumption, animal cruelty and exploitation, direct animal rescue and health provision for hundreds of pet animals in recent years.
