This is to give you a brief update about the Surgical Statistics of Mission Smile for the FY 2021-2022;

GC4: 765 (including three Missions in Guwahati, Agartala & Shillong)

Vadodara Centre: 117

AIIMS Rishikesh Centre: 58

Bhopal Centre: 50

Kolkata Centre: 24

Puducherry: 10

Missions: 291 (Kolkata: 50, Vizianagaram-Muthoot: 52, Vizianagaram-Colgate: 29, Sikkim: 30, Vadodara: 53, Tamilnadu: 32, Puducherry: 45)

After the break of initial 6 months (April-September) due to Covid restrictions and from there to accomplish 1315 safe surgeries is an achievement for us:)

It is because of the support of donors like you, every year, we can provide around 3,000 Free comprehensive Surgeries to children and adults suffering from this painful yet correctable deformity. Cleft is a congenital deformity that affects 1 in 700 infants in India. These children are born with a gap in their lips and palates apart from looking different face problems in breastfeeding, eating, speaking, drinking etc. as a normal kid. All of these challenges can be resolved by surgery and comprehensive care. In India there are an estimated 1 million Cleft children and adults.
