Rosewood Bangkok. Rangsit Youth Internship Outcomes

Over the past three months, three young people from the Rangsit community, Joey, Tony, and Sam, have trained, learned, and grown through an internship program at Rosewood Bangkok Hotel. On November 25, Rosewood Bangkok marked the completion of this program with a certification ceremony, recognizing their commitment and progress during the training period.

Following the completion of the internship, all three youths are now moving into real employment opportunities. Joey and Tony will continue working as casual staff during weekends and school holidays. Through roles in Housekeeping and Food and Beverage, they are able to earn additional income by applying the practical skills they developed throughout the program.

For Sam, the outcome is particularly significant. We first met him earlier this year as a quiet and soft-spoken young person who had left school to help support his family. After completing more than 200 hours of hands-on training in the kitchen, he has been officially hired by Rosewood Bangkok as a full-time Culinary Assistant, with full employee benefits. Over time, consistent practice and daily responsibility allowed his confidence and technical skills to grow. His transition into his first full-time role reflects steady effort rather than a dramatic change. He showed up, learned, and kept trying.

Many young people are told to dream big. For those facing limited resources, even modest goals can feel distant. The barrier is rarely ability. It is access. When access is provided through structured, supportive opportunities, determination has room to turn into real progress.

SATI extends sincere thanks to Rosewood Bangkok for their continued partnership and for creating practical, accessible pathways for youth from the Rangsit community. These opportunities allow young people to begin their working lives with skills, income, and a sense of pride grounded in real experience.
