Report:

Completion of Paralegal Training Program 2016

SASANE has completed the Paralegal Training Program 2016 recently. 50% of the female survivors of Human trafficking and child marriage who actively participated in the training successfully passed the paralegal examination. Both the interns from Kathmandu and Pokhara, majority of the girls passed the examination.

The passed paralegals are now working successfully in the 25 police stations of Kathmandu and 6 police stations in Pokhara. Some of the girls are now settled in Ghyangphedi - rural mountain village of Nuwakot. They provide the skill development training classes to the girls and adult women of the respective village. They make huge number of beads bracelet, necklase and other accessories. We are now in the process of selling those accessories to the travelers who come to SASANE office in Kathmandu for lunch.
