Good news to report on this project -- we will be implementing in Baglung and Dolpa districts beginning in July 2012, as a randomized-controlled trial examining the impact of our interventions on health outcomes. Our initial project will include approximately 300 female community health volunteers, and will be supported by Global Giving donors, the Hope Phones campaign, and foundation grants.
The project will be implemented by research staff based out of Harvard Medical School, Medic Mobile's regional director, and One Heart World-Wide's team in Nepal. We be sure to update donors regarding implementation details, updates from the community health worker training sessions, and stories (to be captured by a correspondent traveling with the project team).
