At a middle school in Faisalabad, Pakistan, 300 students attend classes every day without reliable access to safe drinking water. Many children rely on unsafe water sources or go through the school day without enough clean water to drink, putting their health and education at risk. We are raising funds to install a water filtration system, storage tank, and drinking station for this underserved school. Access to clean water will help prevent waterborne diseases and improve students' health.
Many children at this middle school spend their school day without dependable access to clean drinking water. Contaminated water can cause serious illnesses, resulting in absenteeism and reduced learning outcomes. Safe drinking water is essential for children's health, dignity, and educational success.
This project will: Install a large-capacity water filtration plant on the school grounds. Construct a safe water storage and distribution system. Provide drinking water stations accessible to all students. Conduct water quality testing and monitoring. Train school staff in system operation and maintenance. Promote hygiene and safe water practices among students.
The installation of a permanent filtration plant will provide thousands of gallons of clean drinking water each year, benefiting current and future generations of students. Healthy children learn better, attend school more regularly, and have greater opportunities to succeed. This project will create a lasting improvement in the school environment while protecting the health and well-being of 300 vulnerable children.
