In Kiwangwa ward there are villages of Bago,Mwetemo and Mwavi there is water shortages access to children and school students.There is insufficiency water and poor hygienic conditions, this insufficient conditions has caused the eruptions of diseases such as Cholera.Our organization focused on increasing water sanitation and hygienic practices to children and students in schools.
At Kiwangwa Ward, in three villages of Bago,Mwetemo and Mwavi, there is shortage of water and poor hygienic conditions this has lead to eruptions of diseases sucha as cholera, schistosomiasis. There is low awareness and education access to community leading poor healthy conditions and sanitary conditions.
Through this project we focused on reaching 400 children in schools and in community.We plan in reaching out 4 primary and 3 secondary schools to provide education awareness to children in community and in schools. We also focus on the establishment of two water tanks with capacity of 10000 Litres with water free from gems located at Mwetemo and Bago villages this will help children and students in school to access water, community workshop will be provided on best sanitation practices.
Establishment of healthy school environment by conducting sanitary awareness conditions to 4 primary and 3 secondary schools, Provision of permanent water tanks to ensure safe and clean water to children and schools, project will stop eruptions of diseases such as cholera by providing safe and clean water to schools and community.Establiment of water access team to children to ensure water access sustainability by accessing more children to sanitary condition.
