Dear Nurturers,
We have some delicious news to share
Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised $1,100 for our shelter in Modakeke. We didn't waste a second putting those funds to work. This month, our shelter transformed into a hub of excitement as we unloaded supplies that are changing daily life for our 100 children.
Where your $1,100 went:The full belly Fund: We stocked up on bulk bags of rice, beans, and yams. For our kids, a full plate means a focused mind and a lot more energy for afternoon football!
The "Back-to-School" Boost: We replaced worn-out notebooks and pens. There’s nothing quite like the pride on a child's face when they have their own brand-new supplies to take to class.
The Road AheadI like the new textbooks because the pages are smooth and I can read my stories better!" Samuel, age 9.
While $1,100 has provided a fantastic "breathing room" for our food and school stores, we are just getting started.
More support = more impact. With continued funding, we aim to move beyond basic supplies to provide specialized tutoring and the much-needed land and building for our own dormitory before the end of the year.
Every dollar stays right here in Modakeke, turning our little rented space into a true home. Thank you for being the Nurturers of our children’s futures!
With gratitude,
EDEN EDUCARE Foundation Nigeria
