The Safe Playgrounds for 300 Children in Niger State project, spearheaded by the Elite Star Foundation, is currently in its early fundraising stage and requires significant support to realize its total goal of $35,000. To date, the project has successfully raised $71 through the generosity of three donors. Financially, securing additional individual and monthly recurring contributions is the primary hurdle to purchasing essential play equipment, such as swings, slides, climbing structures, and protective flooring. While initial financial momentum is still building, these early contributions lay the essential groundwork for transforming hazardous play areas near roads and bare ground into safe, secure, and enriching recreational spaces. Once fully funded, the capital will equip full playgrounds and train school teachers to supervise structured playtime, directly benefiting over 300 children annually by enhancing their physical safety, emotional well-being, and long-term academic engagement. Continued community outreach and donation drives remain crucial to closing the current funding gap and fulfilling the project's physical and educational objectives.
