Dear supporters,
From our most recent update from Uganda, we’ve continued to see strong utilization of our antenatal services even two years after we first started our Omugazi Namagara Project (ONP). In Kaghongi, we saw 216 women attend their first antenatal visit (ANC), and 171 attend their fourth one, demonstrating that more and more individuals are understanding the importance of health care follow-up throughout the length of their pregnancy. At Kashongi health center, there were 99 deliveries during this time period.
In Kashongi, we’ve seen 155 women attend their first ANC, and 121 attend all four of their ANCs. Additionally, we saw 80 deliveries at Kashongi during this time period. We are excited that we are continuing to see the amount of momentum and support we first saw when we started the ONP, and strive to improve upon our already sustainable impact in this community! Thank you all again for the support and we look forward to updating you again on our projects!
Alex
