The Safe Housing Support for 200 LGBTQIA+ Children project is currently at the fundraising stage, with the primary focus remaining on mobilizing the resources required to begin full implementation. The project has a total financial target of $12,000, and at the time of this report, $0 has been raised, leaving $12,000 still required to meet the project goal. Consequently, no project expenditure has been recorded, as funds have not yet been received through the GlobalGiving campaign.
The planned funding will support emergency safe housing and essential assistance for vulnerable LGBTQIA+ children and young people facing homelessness and unsafe living conditions. Once sufficient funding is secured, resources will be directed toward accommodation, nutritious meals, hygiene supplies, medical support, trauma-informed counseling, legal assistance, education reintegration, and vocational support. The project is designed to reach 200 vulnerable young people and provide them with a pathway from immediate crisis to greater safety and stability.
Although fundraising progress remains limited, the project continues to represent an important intervention for young people who have been displaced and require urgent protection. Elite Star Foundation remains committed to mobilizing donors, partners, and supporters to close the $12,000 funding gap and commence implementation. Continued financial support will be essential to translating the project’s objectives into measurable outcomes and ensuring that vulnerable young people can access safe accommodation and the wider support services envisioned under the project.
