In August, 2016, we were finally able to get a productive well drilled at the Rima Clinic. At 51 meters, the well is generating plenty of fresh, clean water for the clinic, as well as everyone in the local community. This was a major accomplishment, especially since the two attempts at digging wells since 2007 had not been successful.
Now the clinic staff is able to keep the building cleaner, wash clothes and bedding more frequently, run an instrument sterilizer, and have a fresh source of uncontaminated drinking and hand-washing water.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!
