SAFE HOME 4 ORPHANS &VULNERABLE CHILDREN NIGERIA

The Eight children at Hope Rising Homes Foundation (Orphanage) are doing excellently well by the grace of God.

The children in the home resumed back to school 4^th September 2023. Their school fees were paid on the 7^th of September 2023.

A new transport service started with the children on 12^th of September 2023 to convey them to school and back home. The driver also agreed to transport the children to court at an additional fee when he is needed for conveniency.

The children had their school PTA meeting on the 14^th of September 2023, the social worker of the home was at the meeting, the meeting was about parents/care giver’s ways of caring for their children, the school Propeitress spoke about some parent’s carefree attitude about their children and spoke about the upgraded standard of the school, which we all applauded her for.  

Two children in the home fell ill on the 27^th of September 2023 and were taken to the hospital for treatment, they were diagnosed of malaria. They were treated and got healed.

The social worker of the home was present at the inner-city orphanage support network programme held inner-city mission oregun on the 27^th September 2023. It was a packaged workshop for the orphanages on care for the children, a lot were learned.

The male child in home’s care order was extended till November 23^rd, 2023, due to court not sitting on the 28^th of September 2023, it was a holiday for Muslim’s celebration.

Two girls were in court on the 5^th of October, but the court did not sit so their care orders were extended till 9^th of November 2023.  

Two of the children were in court on the 19^th of October 2023, after the officer of the home showed his investigation report to the magistrate, the magistrate still asked for a further investigation on the child’s matter, so the care order was extended till 22^nd of February 2024.

The children had their mid-term break on the 20^th of October 2023 for a week and resumed back to school on the 30^th of October 2023.

The children are all doing well in their accedemics and sound health. They attended four different outings in the last quater.

The children of HRHF and the board of directors are thanking all our donors for their generosity. We are very grateful.
