To Our Friends,
This report covers the period from May 19, 2020 to October 10, 2020 and is our seventh report on the project Safeguarding Frogs and Birds in Masuria, Poland.
Our journey to finance this beautiful project is still on.
Since our court complaint at the Provincial Administrative Court in Olsztyn was dissmised, and we could not find any partners from Norway, Island or Liechtenstein to apply for the Norway Grant, we decided to try once more, and apply for a EU Grant.
As you already know, this is the third time we apply for the Measure 5.3. Protection of biological diversity, scheme A grant, and since our two previous applications were rejected due to the minor mistakes, we believe this time we will succeed.
We do our best to finance our biodiversity goals, but this is a really long and painfull process, and there are moments we are running out of steam...
And then we recall Thomas Edison quotes:
- "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
- "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up".
or
- "We often miss opportunity because it's dressed in overalls and looks like work"
On behalf of our team, I offer you our sincerest gratitude.
