In March, we asked for your help to provide the training and information that Rabaini and her neighbors in Cekal Village, Indonesia, needed to rebuild earthquake-resistant, safe homes.
You responded with inspiring generosity. Thank you.
We are proud to report that Rabaini and her family received our training and built a home which meets Build Change standards for earthquake-resistance. Her neighbors’ homes are either complete or currently under construction.
Thanks to your generous support, we provided trainings and technical resources to 15 homeowners and builders in Cekal Village. The builders continue to provide construction guidance, visiting houses in progress to ensure that the new structures are built with earthquake-resistant techniques. Your support helped make these families safer from earthquakes and empowered women like Rabaini with the knowledge to advocate for the safe construction of their homes.
