Mid Year Update - VP Library Services - 2014-15

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting us in this noble cause. We are pleased to inform you that your valuable donation has helped hundreds of students to avail library facilities and get free access to academic text,reference & competitive examinationbooks.

Key Highlights of Vidya Poshak's Library Services

6 Libraries & 28 book bank centers are extending free library services to the needy student community.

10483 students utilised library services including the computer facilities (Between April – Nov 2014 )

18543 books were issued to students for home use.

1426 new books were procured & 473 books were received as donation. Now we have overall more than 77,000 books worth 9.3 Million Indian Rupees.

Conducted workshops on ‘Talk on Placement’ for B.E final year students at Vidya Poshak Central Library Hubli. Many students derived benefit from these informative sessions.

English Language Improvement Classess for High School Students of Kannada Medium from 14^th June to 23^rd Septemebr 2014

Orientation towards social cause to VP students & volunteers on 30^th October 2014

Careeer guidance & counseling facility to student community on every Staturday

Many volunteers contributed their valuable services for upliftment of needy students by way of donation, resource person,mentor and so on.
