Vidya Poshak - Library Updates - April - Nov 2013

Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings from Vidya Poshak Family!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting us in this noble cause. We are pleased to inform you that your valuable donation has helped many a students to avail library facilities and get free access to academic text books.

To keep you updated on our library activities, we are happy to share the following information.

Highlights:

10137 students utilised library services including the computer facilities (Between June to Nov)
6980 books were issued to students
4700 new books were procured + 536 books were received as donation
Conducted workshops on ‘Exam Study Techniques’and ‘Job Interview Skills’ for class XI and XII students at our central library in Hubli. Many students derived benefit from these informative sessions.

Additionally, students from BVB engineering college led by Chetan, voluntarily organized a drive to collect used books from generous donors and handed them to our central library at Hubli. Such a wonderful gesture. Thanks folks!!
