Share the Care launched the Rural School Online Learning Program, volunteers to provide quality education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) via live-streamed teaching. The program aims to help rural children access high-quality educational resources and foster their all-around development.
With the government's support for rural education, the physical infrastructure of rural schools has gradually improved; however, resources for quality education in areas such as science, technology, and the arts remain insufficient. Greater participation from civil society is needed to provide rural children with high-quality education, companionship, and care.
To promote the development of STEAM education in rural schools, the "Cloud Teaching STEAM Rural Classroom" project has been established. This initiative mobilizes volunteers to deliver live-streamed lessons, providing rural children with more diverse and sustainable STEAM courses. By bringing STEAM education into rural classrooms, the project helps rural students acquire basic scientific literacy and enhances their critical thinking, practical skills, and innovative abilities.
The organization coordinates classroom management and encourages schools to use hands-on lessons and competitions to guide rural children in identifying problems, thinking critically, and solving problems, thereby fostering their continuous growth.
