Rural School Leadership Program 2026–2027: Second-Year Launch
Teach For Mongolia has launched the second year of the Rural School Leadership Program, with funding from the Australian Embassy in Mongolia. This year, the program brings together 100 school leaders and teachers from 10 rural schools, with each school forming a 10-member leadership team. Participants will take part in two days of intensive, in-person training to strengthen their leadership, management, and project-based learning (PBL) skills.
The program combines in-person and online learning across five modules, supporting participants to apply their learning through collaborative school improvement projects. The four in-person modules cover:
The fifth module provides project progress reviews and coaching through online sessions in October, November, and December. Participants will also receive guidance on presenting their project outcomes. The program will conclude with an official closing event on January 22, 2027.
Initial Training at Three Schools
Between September 21 and 30, 2026, Teach For Mongolia delivered the four in-person modules at three rural schools. All 30 participating school leaders and teachers attended, achieving a 100% attendance rate.
The training helped school teams develop ideas for projects to implement over the following two months and strengthen collaboration within their teams.
