2024 Mentorship Camp

Angels Palace Organisation (APOF) is a dynamic Private Voluntary Organization dedicated to creating and sustaining nurturing environments for orphans and vulnerable children. In collaboration with like-minded local, regional, and international partners, we strive to transform the lives of young ones in rural areas, such as Chegutu Rural District. Our mission is to foster a brighter childhood for every orphan and vulnerable child by providing comprehensive support, including spiritual guidance, nutritious food, clothing, education, mentorship, and rehabilitation, ultimately empowering them to thrive on a global scale. By building happy homes, we aim to create a legacy of love, hope, and opportunity for these precious children.
Overview
The Angels Palace Mentorship Camp was a two-day event held on August 30th- 31st, 2024, with the primary objective of providing a supportive and empowering environment for teen mothers and teens. The camp aimed to equip participants with essential life skills, education, and personal growth opportunities. This report highlights the achievements and outcomes of the camp, including the distribution of certificates, hygiene products, and stationery, as well as the essentials of the mentorship program and goals achieved.
Certificates of Attendance
All participants received certificates of attendance, acknowledging their engagement and commitment to personal development. This recognition serves as a motivation for the teens and teen mothers to continue striving for excellence in their personal and educational journeys.
Hygiene Products and StationeryThirty teen mothers received essential hygiene products, promoting health and dignity. These products are crucial for maintaining personal hygiene and boosting self-esteem. Additionally, twenty teens received stationery, enabling them to continue their education with necessary resources. This provision ensures that participants
have the necessary tools to succeed in their academic pursuits.
Mentorship Essentials
The mentorship program emphasized three key essentials:
1. Empowerment: Participants gained confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose through interactive sessions and activities.
2. Education: Teens and teen mothers received guidance on education, career paths, and life skills, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future.
3. Community Building: A supportive community was established, fostering connections and encouragement among participants.

As we build on the success of the mentorship camp, Angels Palace Education Program Initiative This program aims to educate children with disabilities, providing necessary resources, support, and advocacy for inclusive education. Our goal is to create a conducive learning environment that caters to theunique needs of children with disabilities, ensuring they receive quality educationand equal opportunities.
